Charming stay with fantastic food

I recently enjoyed a delightful one-night stay in a beautifully decorated Petite room. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, and the dining experience was top-notch, with an array of delicious dishes that left us thoroughly satisfied. I found the lack of air conditioning challenging given the warm weather during our visit, which made our room quite stuffy at times.

Had an amazing time during our anniversary celebration! The sauna was a blissful retreat after a long day, and the outdoor pool was perfect for lounging in the sun. The only downside was some noisy traffic outside our window, but it didn’t ruin the wonderful experience overall! 😊

The gin tasting event was a highlight, featuring a well-curated selection that added an engaging touch to our stay. The luxurious breakfast offerings were custom-made each morning, showcasing local ingredients and elevating the start of the day.

While most aspects were enjoyable, the room felt a bit cramped for two, which might be an issue for those needing space. The noise from ongoing building work started early in the morning, disrupting what could have been a leisurely start to the day. the bar prices were staggeringly high. £7.20 for a pint of Guinness seems excessive, which might put a dent in your evening plans.

staying at the old inn was delightful. the hotel has a charming rustic feel, and the spa decor is modern and chic. we dined in the restaurant, and the food was simply outstanding. the cocktail service at the spa was superb, making our time there all the more enjoyable.

Despite this, the quality of food impressed me. I'd recommend visiting for a cozy getaway, but keep noise in mind if you're a light sleeper.

We spent 1 night in the Carriage room and it was really cozy. The bar had great vibes, but wow, £7 for a pint? That just hurts! Breakfast was a highlight—really tasty! Just a heads-up, the traffic noise was a bit annoying since our room faced the road. Would be cool if they lowered drink prices.
